One of the best ways to serve one another is helping and getting help from other Brigade leaders around the country. Ask questions or share what you are doing.
17:12 — Lift’m Up!
Exodus 17:12 – “When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset.”
When Joshua fought in the valley, victory wasn’t won by strength alone—it was won through prayer and support. Moses’ lifted hands symbolized intercession, but when he grew weary, Aaron and Hur stepped in. Together, they became the unseen strength behind the battle.
Our Brigade Ministry is on the front lines—mentoring, discipling, and shaping young men to be strong in faith and character. But just like Moses, our leaders and boys can’t stand alone. They need a team of Aarons and Hurs—faithful prayer warriors who will Lift’m Up before the Lord. When you pray for Brigade, you’re not just saying words—you’re joining the battle. Every prayer strengthens a leader, encourages a boy, and advances the Kingdom.
Be a part of 17:12. Be one who Lifts’m Up. Pray for Brigade. Strengthen the front lines. Victory comes when we stand together. 17:12 Prayer Activity — Lift’m Up! Every week, our Brigade leaders and boys gather to grow in faith, character, and service. You can be part of their strength through prayer!
Set an alarm on your phone for 17:12 (5:12 p.m.) on the day of your Brigade unit meeting night.
When the alarm goes off, take one minute to pause and pray:
Pray for the leaders to be encouraged and wise.
Pray for families to be united in faith.
Be a faithful “Aaron” or “Hur” and Lift’m Up!
Together, we win the battles that matter most.

Share and request your stories here for Story Circle, Council Rings etc. Brigade blood runs think with stories because the male heart is built not only to hear stories and tell them, but because we know we are characters in the greatest story ever told. That’s why stories are featured in our culture and materials. This forum is a place to share your story needs and to provide stories as you create or encounter them. As we find stories that are super helpful we will curate them and place them in the Stories Section of our Resources area.
