Introducing the Tree Climbers Guild

Building a solid foundation of faith in young boys requires intentionality, adventure, and time spent together. That’s why we are thrilled to share that Tree Climbers is growing into the Tree Climbers Guild!

The Tree Climber Guild represents the new generation of materials for our 1st and 2nd-grade discipleship program. Designed to help fathers and adult male mentors guide boys through hands-on projects, outdoor experiences, and God’s Word, The Tree Climber Guild brings even more flexibility and engaging content to your weekly meetings.

What’s Changing

Instead of static annual materials, The Tree Climber Guild is structured into 4-week subject units. This bite-sized, modular format allows groups to replace traditional sections of Odyssey and Discovery with fresh, focused topic guides. Whether your group is exploring nature, history, or practical skills, these new releases equip men to serve as spiritual fathers and mentors to their own sons as well as to boys in the church who need godly male guidance.

The Log Book

One of the most meaningful additions to the Tree Climbers Guild is the official Log Book. Far more than a simple workbook, this journal serves as a personal keepsake where a boy tracks the pinnacle moments of his growth throughout each 4-week unit.

Inside the log book, boys can:

  • Collect Achievement Stickers: Track unit completion and milestone achievements with vibrant sticker collections.

  • Record Scripture Memory: Log key Bible verses learned and hidden in their hearts.

  • Journal Thoughts & Memories: Capture private thoughts, favorite outdoor activities, and special group memories.

  • Receive Mentor Encouragement: Features a dedicated section for fathers and mentors to write personal notes of affirmation, encouraging young boys as they build character and faith.

New Shirt Design

Transitioning to the Guild isn’t just about new materials. We are excited to introduce our newly designed Tree Climbers shirts that give both boys and men a sense of belonging and identity within the Guild.
