Tom, I was talking to Jeff the other day and he said that he and Ross got to taste some of your outdoor cooking when all of you were goose hunting.

  • Leaders, This is a great Council Ring or Story Circle and Keith has already given us an outline with the Scripture used. Tom does a great job of combining his love and knowledge of God’s Creation with his passion for CSB and discipleship. Expect to see more Council Rings and Story Circles from Alumnus, Tom Oranzi.

I agree. Dave is the real deal and his son and the young men he has invested in are partly the men they are today through Dave’s forging a deep relationship with them, all the while calling them to be the men of God we are all called to be.

    Dave,

Thanks for sharing this great new resource we are providing for Brigade Leaders for use on their online meetings.

Here is a Super Online Stockade Meeting Suggestion:

Ask each Stockader ahead of time to have his collection or a portion of his collection by his computer for your next online meeting. Depending on the number of Stockaders attending the meeting each boy can be given 3-5 minutes to introduce his collection and share why it is important to him.

The story circle that I gave ties my Native American Artifact collection to the unique gift/skill set that God has provided each Stockader and the importance of developing your gift/skill set to serve others.

There you have it: An awesome online Stockade meeting that you do “virtually” no planning for other than to remind the boys to be ready to share their collection and end with the Story Circle that is tied to the evening theme. The hardest part will be reminding some of the boys their time is up when they share their collection! Ranger Joel
