WELCOME TO STOCKADE
Tommy Cleveland writes this question: What’s the stockade sign?
Thanks for all this detail, I am excited to put this into practice. Question, whats the stockade sign? I am familiar with the three finger boyscout sign but did not know we had our own.
A quick answer to your question about the Stockade sign. An individual’s hands are placed together with interlocking fingers like the corner of a log building. The same becomes the Prayer sign when the fingers are closed and wrapped together. It’s a lot easier to envision in a photo.
I’m sending you a couple pages from Welcome to Stockade which has basics like this for boys.
The booklet is a 16 page overview of Stockade basics and achieving in Builder and Sentinel Trails.
I’d suggest purchasing a Welcome to Stockade booklet for each of the boys in the Stockade unit.
It can be used as a teaching tool for men and boys together in a couple of your initial meetings.
