Ten Minutes with Your Son will Help Him Grow
A message for Parents on how they can engage with their boy using his Builder or Sentinel Trails.
“What’s that in your hand, Moses?” asked The Great I Am. This staff would be a tool and symbol to deliver God’s people. Trails is a useful tool to help a boy grow in mind, soul and body, especially at home. Parents can be encouraged to use it one page at a time, on a regular basis with their sons.
This one page article can be reproduced and sent home. These activities, done together, will help him make progress with confidence toward his next badge award in Stockade. You’ll be doing what the Bible calls a parent’s job. How so? Deuteronomy 6:7, in the Old Testament tells us “to teach them diligently”.
Connect with your son’s ranger by phone or text message. He will be glad to hear about your boy’s progress. Then with his feeling of success it will be easier to show your son he can take the next step.
“Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress.” I Timothy 4:15
