The Team Sports Module teaches boys that just as every player has a role on a team, every believer has an important place in the Body of Christ—each gifted by God to serve and strengthen the whole.
Practical Purpose: Equip boys to understand teamwork through sports while helping them see how their God-given strengths contribute to the life and mission of the church.
Boys Will Learn:
That team sports rely on cooperation, communication, and each player fulfilling their unique role.
That God has given everyone different gifts and abilities—and all are needed in the Body of Christ.
How working together in both sports and church builds unity, purpose, and strength.
Projects:
Participating in simple team sports activities that highlight teamwork, strategy, and shared responsibility.
Practicing roles, positions, and group decision-making to understand how each part matters.
Completing Outpost Adventures Achievements that reinforce teamwork at home, in school, and in church life.
Spiritual Goals:
Understand the biblical truth that the church is one body with many members, each with a role to play.
Learn to value others’ strengths while using their own gifts to serve and build up the group.
Recognize that being part of God’s team means contributing, encouraging, and working together in unity.
