Practical Purpose: Equip boys to understand life as a God-directed race where faithfulness, discipline, and obedience determine the true victory.
Boys Will Learn:
That racing parallels the Christian life—requiring focus, perseverance, and commitment to God’s rules.
How choices, habits, and attitudes influence the “race” they are running each day.
That Christ calls us to run with integrity, resisting shortcuts or compromises.
Projects:
Designing, shaping, and preparing their StocKar derby car with guidance from leaders and peers.
Participating in group building sessions that highlight discipline, patience, and sportsmanship.
Completing Outpost Adventures Achievements that reinforce lessons about life’s choices and spiritual direction.
Spiritual Goals:
Understand that life is a spiritual race meant to be run with Christ—not against Him.
Learn that compromises with God’s rules slow us down, while obedience strengthens our walk.
Recognize the importance of finishing well by following Jesus with sincerity and perseverance.
