Discover the vision behind the American Liberty Mission, launched by Battalion 1834 to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary. This introduction highlights how brigaders explored themes of courage, faith, and God-given liberty through hands-on experiences, historical reenactments, and stories of God’s providence during the Revolutionary War.
In this introduction you will learn how the Brigadiers of Unit 1834 who pioneered this Mission learned firsthand about the arms, equipment, and battlefield discipline of Revolutionary-era soldiers. The boys even crafted their own custom wooden “muskets,” complete with hand-drawn symbols inspired by historic flags and regimental markings.
