The Mentoring Mission Guide helps young men understand the importance of mentorship and equips them to grow in loyalty, leadership, and Christ-centered relationships.
Practical Purpose: Equip young men to understand, pursue, and practice mentoring relationships that strengthen their faith and build lasting, Christ-centered connections.
Boys Will Learn:
- The importance of mentoring and why no man is meant to grow alone.
- How to communicate effectively and build meaningful relationships with others.
- How to seek out, learn from, and walk alongside mentors and peers in their faith journey.
- The value of loyalty and strengthening others through encouragement and accountability.
Projects:
- Participate in communication exercises designed to build confidence in conversation and connection.
- Engage in mentoring labs and one-on-one discussions with peers and leaders.
- Use Adventure Trails materials to guide mentoring relationships and track growth.
- Practice real-life mentoring through group discussions, shared experiences, and leadership opportunities.
Spiritual Goals:
- Understand that God designed us to grow together, not alone (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10).
- Develop loyalty as a Christlike trait—faithfully strengthening others in their walk with God.
- Recognize the importance of discipleship and investing in others as part of Christian maturity.
- Build a desire to both seek mentorship and become a godly mentor to others.
