I was introduced to Brigade by my father who brought me to Stockade at our home church, Wantagh Baptist Church – unit 720, once I was old enough. After aging out of Stockade I skipped a year of brigade due to not having Battalion available at that church back then. Before the start of the next school year, I asked my Dad to find another church that hosted a Battalion unit. He did, and I ended up attending Battalion at that church for the next five years.
