Flight Leaders Guide

The Flight Module teaches boys the basics of flight while helping them understand biblical faith—trusting Christ alone, persevering through challenges, and staying determined on the journey.

 

Practical Purpose: Equip boys to explore simple principles of flight while learning how faith requires trust, perseverance, and steady determination.

 

Boys Will Learn:

 

  • Foundational concepts of flight such as lift, thrust, drag, and basic aircraft design.

  • That personal faith in Christ is essential—trusting Him alone for salvation and daily strength.

  • How perseverance and determination help them overcome obstacles, both in flight experiments and in life.

Projects:

 

  • Building and testing simple flying models such as paper airplanes, gliders, or lightweight crafts.

  • Experimenting with how changes in design or technique affect flight performance.

  • Completing Outpost Adventures Achievements that reinforce hands-on learning and personal reflection.

Spiritual Goals:

 

  • Understand that biblical faith means trusting God completely, not relying on their own strength.

  • Learn how perseverance in flight activities mirrors perseverance in following Jesus.

  • Recognize that determination, grounded in faith, helps them face challenges with confidence and hope.
