The Dogs Module helps boys learn how to care for dogs while discovering what a dog’s loyal love can teach us about God’s love—and how we are called to love others.
Practical Purpose: Equip boys to understand the responsibilities of caring for a dog while helping them see how love is expressed through attention, kindness, and daily actions.
Boys Will Learn:
What dogs need to be healthy, happy, and well-cared for—food, exercise, grooming, training, and affection.
How a dog’s loyalty and response to loving care can illustrate how God loves us faithfully.
That love is practical, active, and meant to shape their everyday behavior toward family, friends, and others.
Projects:
Exploring dog-care basics such as feeding routines, grooming, exercise, and learning simple commands.
Observing how dogs show affection, trust, and loyalty through their behavior.
Completing Outpost Adventures Achievements that reinforce both responsible pet care and expressions of love.
Spiritual Goals:
Understand that God’s love is steady, personal, and faithful—far greater than even a loyal pet’s love.
Learn that loving others means showing kindness, patience, and care through their actions.
Recognize that everyday opportunities—at home, school, or in Stockade—are chances to reflect God’s love.
