Cars & Trucks Leaders Guide

The Cars & Trucks Module teaches boys how vehicles work and why caring for them is a matter of responsibility—helping them connect practical upkeep with the biblical call to steward their lives and belongings well.

 

Practical Purpose: Equip boys to understand basic vehicle care while learning how responsibility applies to every area of life, from possessions to relationships.

 

Boys Will Learn:

 

  • Why cars and trucks are important tools that require proper care and attention.

  • How responsible maintenance—like cleaning, checking parts, and treating equipment well—keeps things working safely.

  • That God calls us to be responsible with what He’s given us: our things, our time, ourselves, and how we treat others.

Projects:

 

  • Exploring simple vehicle-related tasks such as identifying parts, checking basics, or learning about maintenance.

  • Participating in hands-on activities that reinforce responsibility through practical care.

  • Completing Outpost Adventures Achievements that encourage responsibility at home and within their community.

Spiritual Goals:

 

  • Understand responsibility as a biblical value that honors God and blesses others.

  • Learn that stewardship includes caring for belongings, respecting others, and making wise choices.

  • Recognize that being responsible reflects maturity, faithfulness, and gratitude toward God.
