Cars Mission Guide

The Cars: Driven to Serve Mission Guide helps young men explore the world of automobiles while discovering how their God-given abilities can be used to serve others through innovation, leadership, and encouragement.

Practical Purpose: Introduce young men to the evolution, design, and purpose of automobiles while shaping a mindset that their skills and abilities are meant to serve others.

Boys Will Learn:

  • How cars have evolved from early horseless carriages to modern vehicles and the key innovations behind that progress.
  • The role of creativity, engineering, and problem-solving in meeting real-world needs.
  • How historical figures like Henry Ford and others used their gifts to influence industry and society.
  • The importance of character traits such as humility, meekness, and service in leadership and life (as emphasized through the Seven Points of Valor).

Projects:

  • Build and race model cars while learning teamwork, design, and problem-solving.
  • Create visual presentations or timelines exploring the history and innovation of automobiles.
  • Participate in hands-on challenges that simulate engineering, design, and mechanical concepts.
  • Engage in group activities that connect automotive lessons to real-life service and leadership opportunities.

Spiritual Goals:

  • Understand that God equips each person with unique gifts to serve others (Exodus 31:3).
  • Learn that true greatness comes through serving others, not seeking status (Mark 10:43–45 reflected in the theme of chivalry and service).
  • Recognize how humility and obedience to God shape a life of impact and purpose.
  • Develop a desire to use personal abilities to encourage, lead, and build up others in Christ.
