The Camping Module teaches boys how to enjoy and navigate the outdoors while helping them develop steadfastness—finishing what they start and persevering through challenges.
Practical Purpose: Equip boys with basic camping skills and help them learn perseverance by experiencing the joys and difficulties of outdoor living.
Boys Will Learn:
How to set up a campsite, use simple gear, and adapt to living with fewer comforts.
How to handle challenges such as rain, bugs, heat, or cold—and keep going even when conditions are tough.
That camping requires grit, teamwork, and a willingness to “make do” with what’s available.
Projects:
Practicing campsite setup, tent care, fire safety, and simple outdoor problem-solving.
Completing hands-on activities that build resilience, resourcefulness, and cooperation.
Working through Outpost Adventures Achievements that reinforce outdoor skills and steady perseverance.
Spiritual Goals:
Understand steadfastness as faithfully sticking with responsibilities despite obstacles.
Learn that God calls us to endure with patience, just as we persevere through challenges in the outdoors.
Recognize that spiritual growth often comes when we press on—trusting God in both comfort and hardship.
