Mentoring Mission Guide

The Mentoring Mission Guide helps young men understand the importance of mentorship and equips them to grow in loyalty, leadership, and Christ-centered relationships.

Practical Purpose: Equip young men to understand, pursue, and practice mentoring relationships that strengthen their faith and build lasting, Christ-centered connections.

Boys Will Learn:

  • The importance of mentoring and why no man is meant to grow alone.
  • How to communicate effectively and build meaningful relationships with others.
  • How to seek out, learn from, and walk alongside mentors and peers in their faith journey.
  • The value of loyalty and strengthening others through encouragement and accountability.

Projects:

  • Participate in communication exercises designed to build confidence in conversation and connection.
  • Engage in mentoring labs and one-on-one discussions with peers and leaders.
  • Use Adventure Trails materials to guide mentoring relationships and track growth.
  • Practice real-life mentoring through group discussions, shared experiences, and leadership opportunities.

Spiritual Goals:

  • Understand that God designed us to grow together, not alone (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10).
  • Develop loyalty as a Christlike trait—faithfully strengthening others in their walk with God.
  • Recognize the importance of discipleship and investing in others as part of Christian maturity.
  • Build a desire to both seek mentorship and become a godly mentor to others.
