This document will help give you an idea of how you might structure a year of Stockade and how both the Leaders Guides that guide your weekly meetings, as well as the Trailbooks that guide one-on-one mentoring, fit into that year. It provides a simple visual overview of how weekly meetings, achievement nights, events, and discipleship opportunities can work together across the months of the program year.
You’ll see how the different components of Stockade—Scripture study, spiritual growth, projects, outdoor activities, and mentoring—can be woven together to create a balanced and meaningful experience for boys. The goal is not to prescribe a rigid schedule, but to give leaders a helpful framework so they can plan ahead, pace their meetings well, and intentionally create opportunities for both group learning and personal discipleship.
This document will help you:
- Visualize a full Stockade year from fall through spring.
- Understand how weekly meetings flow using the Leaders Guides.
- See how Trailbook mentoring fits alongside meetings for one-on-one discipleship.
- Plan achievement nights and activities throughout the year.
- Integrate events such as service projects, trips, and special activities into your schedule.
- Balance group learning with personal mentoring so boys grow both spiritually and relationally.
