The American Liberty Mission helps young men understand biblical courage through the stories, discipline, and faith of Patriot soldiers during the War for Independence.
Practical Purpose: Equip young men to learn and practice courage through historical training, hands-on marching and drill skills, and biblical lessons from the Patriots who defended American Liberty.
Boys Will Learn:
How biblical courage is lived out through faith, discipline, and conviction, both in Scripture and in the lives of Patriot soldiers.
The foundational ideas of American Liberty and the Golden Triangle of Freedom—freedom, virtue, and faith.
The skills used by 18th-century soldiers, including close order drill, open order maneuver, battlefield tactics, and historical context.
Projects:
Learning and practicing marching, maneuvering, and musket drill using His Majesty’s ’64 Manual.
Participating in simulated battle drills such as Lexington & Concord, Brandywine, and Cowpens.
Singing and studying Patriot-era songs like “Free America” and “Chester” to understand how faith fueled courage.
Spiritual Goals:
Understand that courage is not the absence of fear, but faith in God’s power, love, and self-discipline.
Learn to face fear with confidence in God’s protection, strength, and providential care.
Apply biblical courage to daily challenges—standing firm, loving others boldly, and living with conviction.
