For the one board birdhouse, a five or six-foot (depending on availability) “1×6” Cedar Dog Ear Fence Picket works GREAT! You just need to add 1/4-inch to measurement “E” because the picket is 5/8″ rather than 3/4″ thick. Looks great and lasts for years without paint or stain! Just make measurement “E” 4 1/4 inches.

You could go down the Bible story road. Jesus Washing the disciples feet… you could even do a footwashing . Joseph did end up changing the world, but it was his consistent setvanthood and faithfulness in everyday things that led to that in his life. You could have everyone consider all of the service they receive
