									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After a chilly camping trip last weekend with our unit (5987) along the New River, my son Caleb and I got to enjoy participating in Pedaling for a Purpose for the first time.  We bike 26 miles along the beautiful New River Trail and an extra one mile along a nearby mountain bike trail.  Dad was definitely feeling pretty tired on the way back&hellip;</p>

<p>I&#8217;m pretty new to understanding Battalion uniforms.  I know there are a least two different diagrams out there as to how the pins/patches go on the uniform.  But on pages 78-79 of the book: Adventure Trails: A Christ-centered guide for the active young man, it shows the Builder and Sentinel stars and Builder and Sentinel Pins being affixed&hellip;</p>

The page asks the Stockader to complete the Battalion Observer book.  Completing the requirements in the Observer book would have him attend at least one Battalion meeting and meet with&hellip;</p>

One of the pages is &#8220;The Story of the Torch&#8221; which has a portion of a story told at the first CSB meeting in 1937.  At the end, it says to ask your Ranger to tell you the rest of the story.  Can someone help me out with the rest of the story so that I can relay it to him?  Thanks.</p>
