CPC 6831Battalion, Trail Bike Ride<div>
This Saturday (9/26) we’re organizing a casual trail bike ride at Rockburn Branch Park! We will spend some adventurous time biking the trails and will end our ride at the Skills Park area. These are fairly easy trails to ride, so it will be a great ride for everyone, regardless of experience! We’ll ride from 10AM to 2PM. We’ll take a break around noon for some lunch, please pack your own lunch if you’d like to eat! As always, Dads are more than welcome to join us.
We will plan to meet at 10 AM on Saturday at a trailhead located just off of Montgomery Road where it crosses over I-95. Coordinates of this point.
Pick-up will be at 2PM at the Skills Park at Rockburn Branch Park. The Skills park can be accessed from paved trails from parking on both sides of the park.
Please let us know if your son (or you if you’re a Dad!) will be joining us so we can have a preliminary headcount. The weather is looking good and I’m looking forward to getting out of the house on the trails!

Annapolis 4743 Battalion, Canoe Trip and Camping Weekend
Drop off at EP Church – 5:30 pm Friday
Return to EP Church – ~4:00 pm Sunday
Canoeing location: Antietam Creek, near Boonsboro, MD
Friday night camp: Antietam Creek Battleground Campgroung
Sat night camp: Raven Rock Shelter, a few miles south of Pen-Mar State Park
We will camp Friday night at a campground near the creek, along the Potomac, Sat morning drive 15 min to the beginning spot on Antietam Creek (Devil’s Backbone), and canoe approx 13 miles to the Potomac. We will then relocate (because the campground is full Sat night) to a shelter on the App. Trail that requires a 1-mile hike from the road. Sunday we will have worship and possibly a fun activity near the shelter.
FOOD: Bring Sat breakfast plus lunch on the river. We will provide and do group cooking for Sat dinner and Sunday breakfast. For Friday dinner and Sunday lunch on the way there and back, we will stop in Mt Airy for options like Chipotle, Taco Bell, McDonalds, etc. Bring $$ for fast food or your own dinner..
GEAR: At a minimum you need a sleeping bag, ground pad, water bottle, water shoes, and tent space/hammock. WE WILL NOT CARRY GEAR IN THE CANOES, so you can pack as for a “car camping” trip. However, Sat night we will hike a mile, so pack in a backpack not a suitcase. Let us know if you need to borrow some gear!

Stillwaters and Cornerstone combine battalions for a First Night of Fishing at Captain Mark’s pond and pavilion. Fish were caught, and previously caught bass and trout were prepared in foil over the fire. Council Ring by Captain Mark on Nehemiah’s confidence as a man of prayer and leader for God in his time.
